Intro
Master Motors Limited, the local partner of Changan, has launched the Changan Alsvin 2024 in Pakistan. This marks the Chinese carmaker’s entry into the Pakistani passenger car market.
The Alsvin is a sedan available in three versions: 1.37L Comfort, 1.5L Comfort, and 1.5L Lumiere. With a 3-year/100,000-kilometer warranty, the Alsvin comes with impressive features and an appealing price to compete with existing sedans and hatchbacks in Pakistan.
As the 4th largest auto group in China, Changan’s entry into the Pakistani market is a big development for the country’s car industry.
Alsvin Exterior
The exterior of the new Alsvin stands out from its rivals. Its front features a butterfly grille, offering a wider exposed area to enhance air intake and heat transfer. The car has a dual waist design, which, according to the company, provides an aerodynamic streamline motion and reduces fuel consumption.
The grille is paired with dual-beam halogen projection headlamps that can be adjusted electrically from inside the car. Additionally, the Alsvin comes with LED curve daytime running lights (DRLs) that are adjustable. The tail lamps are two-part combination lamps with reverse lights and fog lights.
The Changan Alsvin has a piano black shark fin antenna for better reception. The Lumiere variant also includes an electric sunroof to let more light into the car.

Alsvin Interior
The interior of the Changan Alsvin is luxurious, featuring faux leather seats in ivory beige. The car is spacious and comfortably seats four passengers. The elegant and sporty cockpit gives the interior a modern look, while the D-shaped steering wheel provides more legroom for the driver.
The super electronic power steering includes audio controls in all three variants, with cruise control buttons available only in the Lumiere variant. The Changan Alsvin comes with several advanced safety features, such as dual airbags, rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The Lumiere variant also features heated side mirrors for better visibility and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
All three variants of the Alsvin come with a 7-inch floating display featuring a Human-Machine Interface (HMI). This system allows users to configure and customize the car’s daytime running lights, turn signals, welcome lamp, auto-door lock, AC ventilation, and AC self-drying. The screen also offers entertainment options, with four speakers, one on each door, providing a great audio experience. A USB port and a 12V power outlet are also available in the Alsvin.
The Alsvin includes start/stop technology and keyless entry. Its spacious trunk can be opened with a key or electronically for added convenience.

The 1.37-liter Alsvin Comfort comes with a 1370cc engine that generates 99 HP and 135 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter Alsvin Comfort and Lumiere come with a 1480cc engine that produces 105 HP and 145 Nm of torque.
